CELEBRITY BLOOD DRIVE SET FEB. 11

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Girardeau County American Red Cross and West Park Mall are sponsoring the First Celebrity Blood Drive Monday from 12:30 to 6 p.m.

The drive will be held in the former Sports Connection Retail Space located in the Venture Court area.

This year's honoree is Harry Rediger, manager of JCPenney. Rediger recently retired from the Cape Girardeau American Red Cross Board of Directors after many years of service.

Rediger's friend and associates, as well as the general public, are invited to give blood as a tribute to Rediger.

Donations to the Disaster Services Fund are also being accepted in Rediger's name.
