Timothy J. Shivers, the child's father, was later located at a residence near Holland. He was taken into custody and is charged with first degree endangering the welfare of a child. Shivers remains in the Pemiscot County Justice Center in lieu of a bond of $50,000.

Greenwell said additional charges may be filed as physical and forensic evaluations are completed in Cape Girardeau.
