Car overturns, sends teens to hospital with moderate injuries

MORLEY, Mo. -- Two Benton, Mo., teenagers sustained moderate injuries after their car overturned Monday afternoon. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Route C near Morley, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Tyler S. Ward, 18, driving a 1999 Chevrolet truck, failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned. Ward and a 14-year-old male passenger were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Both were wearing seat belts.
