BIEHLE, Mo. - An infant and two Jackson women were among those injured when a car overturned Sunday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kellie E. Middleton, 18, of Jackson was driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am when the vehicle left the right side of Route B, just south of Interstate 55. Middleton then over corrected and the Grand Am traveled off the left side of the roadway before overturning around 8:20 p.m.
The driver and two occupants - Ashley R. Middleton, age not given, of Jackson and Amber L. Downs, 18, of Perryville, Mo. - sustained moderate injuries. An infant from Perryville traveling in the car was treated for minor injuries.
The infant was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident. The crash report did not indicate if the other three people injured in the accident were wearing a seat belt.
