DEXTER, Mo. Customers inside The Launderer on One Mile Road just after 5 p.m. Wednesday were literally shaken up, but no one was hurt when a Lincoln Town Car came crashing into the Dexter facility. The car took out concrete blocks, bricks and the plate glass window in the front of the building.

DEXTER, Mo. Customers inside The Launderer on One Mile Road just after 5 p.m. Wednesday were literally shaken up, but no one was hurt when a Lincoln Town Car came crashing into the Dexter facility. The car took out concrete blocks, bricks and the plate glass window in the front of the building.

Driver Betty Yount, 81, of Bloomfield, Mo., said that in more than 64 years of driving she never had an accident before this one.

A visibly shaken Yount said at the scene that she was parked in front of the building and was about to leave the parking lot when her foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator, sending her car through the brick wall and window.

The building sustained extensive damage.
