A Cape Girardeau woman is facing domestic assault and weapons charges after she allegedly cut her boyfriend's arm during a heated argument about her desire to take a job as an exotic dancer.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Breonne N. Johnson, 19, who is accused of leaving a deep, 4-inch laceration on the arm of her boyfriend in February, police said. Patrolman Bradley L. Neels was dispatched to Johnson's residence in the 1400 block of North Clark Avenue in reference to a domestic assault where two people had been cut with a knife.

Neels found both the victim and Johnson. He noted in a probable cause statement that the victim told him Johnson left the bedroom during their argument, went to the kitchen and began cutting her arms. The boyfriend told her to stop, the statement said, and he took the knife from her, but she got another knife. When he tried to grab the second knife from her, he said he let go when he noticed Johnson "had a crazy look," the statement said. That's when she attacked him and cut his left forearm in a motion like she was "cutting bread," the victim said.
