The Cape Girardeau Area Vocational School held its annual capping and pinning ceremony for the 20th practical nursing class. The ceremony marks the halfway point of the program.
Students were addressed by Debby Biri, LPN, a 1993 graduate of the practical nursing program at the school, and Louise St. John, RN, a 1984 graduate of the program. The 23 students in the program were introduced by Carol Eaker-Kranawetter, practical nursing program coordinator. Investiture of the caps and pins was by Donna Johnson, practical nursing instructor.
