KENNETT, Mo. -- A 17-year-old accused of making a terroristic threat was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Dunklin County Circuit Court.

Deonte Stracener of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Kennett, was sentenced by Circuit Judge John Mayer to four years in the Department of Corrections.

Stracener will serve 120 days of shock incarceration, then placed on probation.

He was accused of making threats against Kennett High School in October over social media.

Stracener pleaded guilty in November.
