Lisa M. Millburg of Cape Girardeau has been named to the dean's list in the college of Allied Health and Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.

The dean's list includes students with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Millburg is the daughter of Tom and Judy Millburg and is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She is majoring in occupational therapy.

Two Delta students are

honored for leadership

DELTA Two students at Delta High School have been selected by their teachers to receive awards recognizing their leadership and citizenship.

Amy Blattel, a sophomore, has been chosen as the delegate to represent Delta at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation leadership seminar in St. Louis this spring. The foundation, also known as HOBY, has conducted annual, all-expense-paid seminars since 1958.

Lana Cook, a senior at Delta, was chosen to receive this year's Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award. Each year, the Nancy Hunter Chapter of the DAR recognizes outstanding are high school students with the award.

Jeremy Robinett of Cape Girardeau has been named to Who's Who Among American High School Students for 1992-93.

Robinett, a junior at Central High School, is a member of Model UN, National Beta Club, Spanish Club, band and marching band. He is also a representative in the student council.

He is the son of Connie Fodge of Cape Girardeau and Gary Robinett of Champaign, Ill.

Chaffee pupil nominated

for scholars academy

CHAFFEE Chip Bollinger, a sophomore at Chaffee High School, has been selected as the nominee from Chaffee to the Missouri Scholars Academy.

If selected as a participant, Bollinger will attend the academy at the University of Missouri-Columbia this summer.

Students study mathematics, science, social studies and the humanities. They also participate in debate, journalism, art workshops, chorus, computer and photography clubs, theater and creative writing classes. They visit museums and attend lectures.

Bollinger participates in football, baseball, basketball, track, student council, FHA, French club, Students Against Driving Drunk, Future Business Leaders of America, Beta Club and Pep Club.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bollinger of Chaffee.

Karen Hasty of Cape Girardeau has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Evangel college in Springfield, Mo.

She is the daughter of Lonnie and Brenda Hasty of Cape Girardeau and earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester.

Hasty is a 1992 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.

pharmacy college work

Kristi L. Schetter and Pamela L. Schott, both of Cape Girardeau, have been named to the Dean's List at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy for the 1992-93 fall semester.

Schetter is the daughter of Elmer and Sandy Schetter and is a 1988 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.

Schott is the daughter of Robert and Helen Schott and is a 1989 graduate of Notre Dame High School.

William Woods College

recognizes top students

Kristen Schenimann of Cape Girardeau has been named to the dean's scholar list at William Woods College for the 1992 fall term.

Students on the list earned a 3.75 grade point average or above.

She is the daughter of Robert and Jenny Schenimann.

Honor roll at Northeast

includes a Cape student

John Eric Wade of Cape Girardeau has been named to the honor roll at Northeast Missouri State University.

He is senior majoring in psychology.

To be eligible for the honor roll, a student must earn at least 12 semester hours of credit with a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

Woman attends forum

for medical auxiliaries

Carol Sparkman of Cape Girardeau recently attended a leadership forum in Birmingham, Ala., sponsored by the Southern Medical Association Auxiliary.

Sparkman is the auxiliary's state counselor for Missouri. The forum included a seminar on being an effective voluntary leader and presentations on each of the programs and services offered by the Southern Medical Association.
