CAPE STUDENT IN LONDON FOR EXCHANGE PROGRAM

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Deidre Jewel of Cape Girardeau, a junior at Southeast Missouri State University, is studying government and British culture at the Roehampton Institute in London, as a participant in Southeast's London Exchange Program.

Jewel is spending the spring academic term in a foreign country, attending classes taught by native professors at four of the universities which make up the Roehampton Institute.

Jewel, daughter of Don and Dolly Jewel of Cape, is a 1988 graduate of Central High School. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority at Southeast. She received the President's Scholarship, and for the 1990-91 academic year she received the Dean of Liberal Arts Award.
