CAPE STUDENT GRADUATES WITH HONORS FROM PURDUE

Bryan White of Cape Girardeau graduated cum laude from Purdue University with a degree in chemical engineering.

White was the Cape Girardeau Central High School salutatorian in 1986.

During his university career, White worked as a co-op engineer at Ashland Oil Petroleum Company in Canton Ohio.

He was also a member of Omega Chi Epsilon, Tau Beta Pi, Phi Sigma and the Golden Key honor societies at Purdue. He was also a member of Alpha Chi Sigma professional fraternity and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

White has accepted a position as a process engineer with Exxon Petroleum Company in Baytown, Texas.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob White of Cape Girardeau.
