CAPE STUDENT ATTENDS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Jennifer Kopf of Cape Girardeau attended the 1991 National Young Leaders Conference earlier this month in Washington D.C.

She was among 350 high school students from across the nation at the conference.

Throughout the six-day conference, student met with leaders and newsmakers from the three branches of government, the media and the diplomatic corps.

Kopf is a senior at Cape Central High School where she serves as captain of the pom-pon squad and also as a member of the tennis team.

She is a member of the Pep Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Student Senate, National Honor Society, Chamber Choir and the Letterman's Club. She is also the business manager of the school yearbook.

She was chosen for Who's Who Among American High School Students and Rotary Student of the Month for March. She is also a member of the Quill and Scroll Honor Society.

She is the daughter of Kent and Sue Kopf of Cape Girardeau.
