Cape Shrine Club past president John Dubin said that last year's dinner auction "netted about $4,800 and this year we have close to $10,000 worth of goods." Some of the auctioned items include a Casino Aztar package including a one-day pass with complimentary concert and dinner, a Gatlinburg getaway, and men's and women's matching Bulova watches.

"A majority of the local restaurants have given gift certificates for the auction too," Dubin said.

Gift certificates and auctionable goods are still being sought. Call Dubin at (573) 837-3604 or Ken Myles at 334-6112 for donating auction items or purchasing tickets for the dinner auction.
