Clothing for a Cape Girardeau School District clothing exchange may be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday at the Alma Schrader gymnasium. The sale is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Pick up for items not sold is 8 p.m. Friday at the end of the sale.
For those who wish to sell clothing:
* Make sure all clothing is clean and free of holes and stains. You may sell any Cape Girardeau School District 2014-2015 dress code-approved clothing item. Visit capetigers.com and click on "Guide to Student Dress" for guidelines.
* Safety pin an envelope to the top side of the folded clothing item. List the name, article of clothing, size and price on the outside of the envelope.
Items may be priced at $1, $2, $3 or $5 only. This pricing method is meant to simplify the exchange process and keep items affordable for the district's families, according to a flier.
Any unsold clothing not picked up at the end of the sale will be automatically donated to the clothing closets of the participating schools, the flier said.
For those who wish to shop the clothing exchange:
* Bring $1 bills. Checks will not be accepted and change will not be available.
* Buyers will place the exact amount of the selling price in the envelope attached to each clothing item and turn it in at the check-out table during the sale.
