Cape Girardeau's Board of Education will meet Monday for more discussion of facility needs and grade configurations.
The study session is set for 6 p.m. at the central office, 61 N. Clark.
The school board is in the process of determining a direction for the district regarding replacement or upgrading of school buildings. The configuration of grade levels is also up for discussion.
In November the school board held public meetings to gather information on the direction district residents would like to see the district take. Voters twice have defeated tax increases proposed by the school board to build new buildings.
The board held a study session in December to begin discussions on what direction to take, using public input from the forums and written comments. Board members will continue the discussion Monday.
