Cape school board to discuss K-8 district assessment at Monday meeting

The Cape Girardeau School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the administrative offices at 301 N. Clark Ave. L. J. Hart Co., which manages the district's bonds, will give a presentation. The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will also be present. The department and the district have an agreement regarding the management of the Central Municipal Pool.

The Extra Duty Compensation Committee will give an informational report.

Business items are: presentation of K-8 district assessment, presentation of preschool project, approval of the ballot for the school board election, approval of the board's reorganization date, and approval of the 2008-2009 school calendar.
