Cape school board picks Chaffee principal for job

Neil Glass will serve as director of administrative services for the Cape Girardeau School District next year. The school board selected Glass in closed session last week. Glass replaces Patrick Morgan, whose resignation was approved by the board Feb. 25. According to a news release, Glass is completing his fifth year as principal of Chaffee High School. Before that he was a physical education teacher at Jackson Middle School for seven years. He earned an undergraduate and master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is currently completing his Doctorate of Education in Administration from St. Louis University. He begins July 1.
