The Cape River Heritage Museum's newly elected officers for 2008 are president Marjorie Thompson, vice president Beverly Hahs, secretary Margaret Ford and treasurer John Holcomb.

Two new board members, Dr. William Mapes and Kristen Backer, were added.

The museum's exhibits next season include Jean Bell Mosely's works and memorabilia and "The Great Depression."

The 2008 membership drive is in progress. Members will be able to attend the by-invitation-only grand opening in spring 2008. The 200th member will receive a special award.
