Cape police announce more Roll Call events

The Cape Girardeau Police Department has planned more dates and locations for its weekly Neighborhood Roll Call event.

Thursday's Roll Call will be at Washington Avenue and North Middle Street. The Aug. 13 event will be at Good Hope Street and Minnesota Avenue, and the Aug. 20 event will be at Lorimier and Merriwether streets. All Roll Call events take place at 7 p.m.

The Neighborhood Roll Call is intended to allow residents to become more familiar with the department's officers so they can interact and ask questions.
