A possible pilot for a fall TV series, "Semper Fi" was co-created with director Steven Spielberg and his Dreamworks company.

The program about life at Marine boot camp will be broadcast at 7 tonight.

Uhls wrote the screenplay for the movie "Fight Club," starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. He is currently at work on a movie project with Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson.

Uhls is the son of Inez (Uhls) Fiehler and the late Southeast Missouri State University baseball coach Joe Uhls.
