The defense for a Cape Girardeau man charged with purchasing and distributing narcotics passed on reviewing the case Tuesday before Circuit Court Judge William Syler, needing more time to discuss a police video with her client. It is the second time in one month the Zatrun Twiggs case has been delayed. On Jan. 4, Jennifer Booth, Twiggs' attorney, said there was difficulty in viewing one video from the Cape Girardeau Police Department. "Mr. Twiggs did have an opportunity to review it today, but we have not had a chance to talk about it," Booth said. Twiggs was arrested Sept. 11 in Sikeston, Mo., after police spent two weeks searching for him. Twiggs led authorities on a high-speed chase to Scott City on Aug. 28. Authorities allege that, when he reached Scott City, Twiggs broke into a home and forced an elderly man to drive him to Chaffee, Mo. Twiggs will appear before Syler again Feb. 1.
