Cape municipal band concert to feature flute soloist

The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band concert in the park will feature flute soloist Jennifer Willis in tonight's free show. The band will play "Moorside March, ""Emperata Overture," "Concertino for Flute Solo" with Willis as the soloist. They will continue with "Broadway One-step," selections by George Gershwin, "The Gallant Seventh March," "Beguine Festival," "Home Stretch" and highlights from the musical "Jersey Boys." No special entertainment or celebrity guest director is planned. Concert starts at 8 p.m. and lasts roughly one hour.
