To observe National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Cape Girardeau officials will unveil a kiosk that will educate residents on how to help the homeless at a local movie theater Wednesday.

A kiosk that has information pamphlets and other materials on how to help the homeless will be unveiled at 10 a.m. today at Wehrenberg Cape West 14. The kiosk is part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, a national effort headed up by the National Homeless Coalition to shed light on hunger and homelessness the week before Thanksgiving.
