A Cape Girardeau man's jury trial for multiple counts of child sex crimes with an 11-year-old girl was set Monday by Circuit Judge John Heisserer for March 23 and 24. David Matthew Burton, 28, faces one count of first-degree statutory rape and three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. The girl told police Burton inappropriately touched her for two years and forced her to watch pornographic videos, perform oral sex and eventually have sexual intercourse, according to court documents. Burton remains held in custody on a $150,000 bond.
