A Cape Girardeau man was stabbed early Saturday morning at a Cape Girardeau nightclub, police said.
At 1:17 a.m. Saturday, Cape Girardeau police responded to a hospital after receiving a report that an assault victim was being treated there.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, did not cooperate with authorities. Sgt. Rick Schmidt said.
Several witnesses at the hospital told police a stabbing occurred inside Club Envy, 731 Broadway, but none said they saw it take place, Schmidt said.
The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, he said.
Police have not identified a suspect, and the case remains under investigation.
