Kingston Wilson, 33, of Cape Girardeau pleaded guilty Monday to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
He appeared before U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel in St. Louis in connection with the felony.
Wilson now faces a maximum of 40 years in prison and/or a $2 million fine.
Sentencing is set for March 4 in Cape Girardeau.
Wilson was arrested June 5 by SEMO Drug Task Force officers, and a search uncovered two plastic bags containing 15.6 grams of a mixture that included meth.
Special assistant U.S. attorney Abbie Crites-Leoni handled the prosecution for the government.
