A man was arrested on suspicion of threatening a victim with a handgun, Cape Girardeau Police Department public information officer Adam Glueck said.

In the early morning hours Thursday, police responded to the call from the victim, who said 20-year old D'Seante Malik Savaughn Hollis of Cape Girardeau pointed a gun at her in the 1500 block of Bloomfield Street, Glueck said.

An officer searched Hollis, finding also marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Glueck said.

Hollis is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and not having a valid driver's license, Glueck said.
