This month's Poetry Coffee House will meet at 7 p.m. today in the Hirsch Community Room of the Cape Girardeau Public Library.
Participants are encouraged to bring selections of published verses they would like to share. Original poetry is also welcome.
Library organizers encourage everyone to join in the coffee house gathering whether they would like to read or just listen.
The library will hold Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 to explore the fun of reading at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Book Discussion Group will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Hirsch room. This month's title is "Girl With a Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier. Books should be available Wednesday at the reference desk.
