Cape, Jackson change trash pickup for MLK holiday

Cape Girardeau and Jackson will alter their trash pick up schedules in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday.

For Cape Girardeau, Monday trash and recycling pickups are rescheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday trash and recycling will be picked up Wednesday. The schedule all other days will remain the same. The transfer station and recycling center will be closed Monday.

For Jackson, garbage normally collected Monday will be picked up Tuesday. All other routes will remain the same. The Jackson recycling center also will be closed Monday.
