Cape Girardeau police responded to a parking lot behind a Broadway business Thursday where a spokesman for the department says two men were arguing over a parking space.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. behind The Comix Strip, said Sgt. Jason Selzer of the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

A parking control officer saw the two men fighting and called for a back up officer. The parking control officer heard one of the men threaten to pull out a knife on the other man, who ran from the scene.
