Cape Girardeau police are looking for two men who broke into the Medicap Pharmacy at 1020 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau early Wednesday morning.
Police were notified of the break-in by the pharmacy's alarm company at 3:29 a.m.
Owner Ben Tally said this is the fourth time within a year his pharmacy has been robbed.
Two men entered the pharmacy by busting the glass drive-through window, said Jason Selzer, public information officer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Surveillance video from inside the pharmacy shows the men's heads were covered to hide their faces. They were also wearing gloves, Selzer said.
Various medications were taken, but according to Tally they were items with no street value including cough syrup without codeine and phenobarbital. A bottle of pain pills was left in the parking lot, he said. A complete inventory of items taken is being compiled.
One suspect was tall, average build, wearing a khaki colored shirt & blue jeans, a red bandanna covering his face, and a red cap.
The second is described as medium height, average build, wearing a dark blue hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans, a red bandanna covering his face and a hood pulled up over his head. One was carrying a dark colored duffel bag, the other a black and white shopping bag.
