Cape Girardeau police investigating apartment building vandalism

Cape Girardeau police are investigating a report of an apartment complex that was defaced with spray paint.

According to department spokesman Darin Hickey, silver spray paint was extensively applied to the west wall of building G located at 121 East Rodney Drive. A nearby tree was also defaced with the spray paint.

The property damage is believed to have happened Sept. 25, but a witness interviewed by the police department has the incident happening on the afternoon of Sept. 22.
