Cape Girardeau police investigate business break-in
Cape Girardeau police are investigating the theft of an air conditioner and the attempted theft of an air-compressor from a local business Tuesday morning. Police responded to Patrick Furniture, 106 S. Broadview St., at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after someone damaged an air compressor while trying to steal it. Police responded to Patrick Cleaners, 106 S. Broadview St., at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after someone damaged an air compressor while trying to steal it. The person was able to steal an air conditioning unit from one of the business' windows, police spokesman Darin Hickey said.
