The Cape Girardeau Police Department, with assistance from other Southeast Missouri law enforcement agencies, arrested 18 people Tuesday on drug-related offenses.
Officers served warrants on 16 Cape Girardeau residents, including 19-year-old Shawn J. Price and 20-year-old Julian T. Chavez, who are charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Joshua E. Foeste, 28, of Oak Ridge is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Danny Schuff, 40; Frederick D. Walker, 29; Curtis M. Branham, 44; James O. Dixon Jr., 28; Terry A. Mead Jr., 23; Harry D. Sloan, 20; Donald W. Reeves, 41; Adrian L. Bird, 19; Jeremy T. Guyton, 25; and Cortez D. Bell, all of Cape Girardeau, are all charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Angelia J. Hanson, 26, of Scott City is also charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Rosemary Inserra, 54, and Dennis J. Kimble, 25, both of Cape Girardeau, are charged with the sale of a controlled substance. Kimble was also arrested on trafficking charges.
Christin R. Beard, 28, is charged with the sale of an imitation controlled substance, and Tanrious Twiggs, 31, was arrested on a federal warrant.
The Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, U.S. Marshals Service, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Missouri National Guard Counter-Drug Program assisted in serving the 18 warrants.
