A Cape Girardeau man pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge Wednesday, according to a news release from acting federal prosecutor Michael Reap's office.
Glen David Holifield, 38, pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
With the plea Holifield admitted that on Aug. 27, SEMO Drug Task Force officers found 202 pills with pseudoephedrine in a vehicle he was driving. Holifield told officers he was going to supply the pills to another person to manufacture methamphetamine, according to the release.
Holifield now faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine or both, along with three years supervised release. Sentencing is set for March 8.
