A 24-year-old Cape Girardeau man pleaded guilty to federal crack cocaine charges ...

Acting federal prosecutor Michael W. Reap's office released the following item:

Pleaded guilty

* Name: Terrvell Williams

* Age: 24

* Residence: Cape Girardeau

* Charge: Two felony counts of distributing five grams or more of cocaine base.

* Details: With his plea Williams admitted that on Nov. 7 he sold 12.9 grams of crack cocaine to a person cooperating with police in Cape Girardeau. Later that day the same person bought 6.7 grams of crack cocaine and a Norinco SKS semiautomatic rifle from him. Williams now faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and a $2 million fine. Sentencing has been set for Aug. 18.
