A Cape Girardeau man was killed and two other men injured this weekend in a single-vehicle accident south of Oran, Mo.
Victor Isaacs, 61, was found dead at the scene of the Sunday afternoon accident on Scott County Road 411, about 1 1/2 miles south of Oran.
The accident occurred around 2:40 p.m. as the southbound 1989 Ford Isaacs was driving veered to the right of the roadway, was overcorrected and overturned on the road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Two passengers, 28- and 33-year-old men from Sikeston, Mo., were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. They were in serious condition.
Scott County Coroner Scott Amick declined to comment on the injuries Isaacs sustained but said his death was related to the crash.
No autopsy or inquest was scheduled.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper could not provide additional information.
