Cape Girardeau police were still looking for two men Friday they allege were part of a robbery at 307 N. Pacific St. earlier in the day.
Officers responded to the location just before 2 a.m. Friday, where the victims alleged a man pointed a gun at them while they were on their porch. A second man, they told police, took a wallet from one of the victims, who struggled with him to get it back, according to Sgt. Jason Selzer, a spokesman for the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
The suspect with a gun, Selzer added, attempted to get away but was chased by another one of the victims. The victim ran into a retaining wall and injured his leg, and both suspects left the scene before police arrived.
Five men were home at the time of the attack, according to Selzer.
