A Cape Girardeau man was allegedly driving drunk when he was involved in a crash that sent him to the hospital late Friday morning. Jerry L. Warren, 46, 1241 Brenda Kay Circle, was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center after he allegedly ran a red light while traveling northbound on Kingshighway and struck a vehicle driven by Warren S. Skinner of Jackson at the road's intersection with Southern Expressway, according to Cape Girardeau Police Department records. Warren was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, running a red light and no proof of insurance.
