Adrian M. Brown, 21, entered the plea during an appearance before U.S. District Judge E. Richard Webber. He faces up to 40 years in prison, a $20,000 fine and four years of probation after release, U.S. Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway said in a prepared statement.

In the plea, Brown admitted that he made the sale on Aug. 30, 2002. Sentencing was set for Oct. 24 in Cape Girardeau.
