Cape Girardeau County Commission approves board reappointments

During its Thursday meeting the Cape Girardeau County Commission approved reappointments to two boards and accepted final paperwork on a bridge project. Dick Decker was reappointed to the senior citizens board, and Mike Kahle was reappointed to the county law enforcement restitution fund board. The commission also approved documents on the Blue Shawnee bridge project. Completed in late July, the project replaced two bridges on County Road 524 and was funded through a federal bridge replacement fund program through the Missouri Department of Transportation.
