Consent ordinances

Approved an ordinance changing the zoning of parts of Lynwood Hills Estates Second Amended Subdivision from R-1 to R-4 and C-1.

Approved an ordinance granting a special use permit to Cape Girardeau School District for constructing a new vocational school along Silver Springs Road.

Approved an ordinance granting a special use permit to Cape Girardeau School District for constructing a new elementary school at 1829 N. Sprigg.

Approved an ordinance granting a special use permit to the city of Cape Girardeau for purposes of constructing an indoor and outdoor firearms range at 2000 Third St.

Approved an ordinance granting a special use permit to Cape Girardeau School District for constructing an addition to Jefferson Elementary School at 520 N. Minnesota.

Approved an ordinance amending the city code relating to reimbursement for costs of arrests.

Approved an ordinance placing a yield sign on Industrial Drive at Enterprise Street.

New ordinances

Approved an ordinance annexing property into the city on the request of Michael A. and Bonnie C. Smith.

Approved an ordinance adopting bylaws for the Ethics Commission.

Approved n ordinance placing a stop sign on Siemers Drive at Lambert Drive.

Approved on first, second and third readings an ordinance authorizing the mayor to sign a partial deed of release to Charles A. Patterson Jr. and Costella E. Patterson for the East End Rental Rehabilitation project.

Approved an ordinance relating to a dog or cat license fee and calling an election on the question of whether to approve the amendment.

Liquor Licenses

Kingshighway, 1610 N. Kingshighway, 1036 N. Sprigg St., 1008 N. Kingshighway, 407 Morgan Oak St., and 2109 William.

Denied a retail liquor by the drink license for Chester D. Casey, d/b/a Peppy's Sports Bar and Dance Club, 823 S. Kingshighway, Chester D. Casey, managing officer.
