Consent ordinances

(Second and third readings)

-- Passed by a 4-3 vote, an ordinance granting a special use permit to city for purposes of constructing, maintaining and operating a cellular phone communication tower at 2815 Perryville Road.

-- Passed an ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the city code, establishing a Vision 2000/Vision 2020 Community Relations Council, and establishing its membership, terms and duties.

-- Passed an ordinance amending Chapter 12 of the city code relating to flood plain management regulations.

-- Passed an ordinance declaring it necessary to improve Delwin Street from Leroy Drive to Janet Drive, approximately 345 feet.

-- Passed an ordinance amending Chapter 30 of the city code by amending the present C-4 planned commercial district to include property at West Park Mall, 3049 William Street.

-- Passed an ordinance granting a special use permit to Bible Missionary Church for a double-wide manufactured home at 2885 Hopper Road.

-- Passed an ordinance granting a special use permit to Ernest C. and Dorothy M. Collier for placement of a directional sign for the Cape Girardeau Church of God at 609 S. Ellis St.

-- Passed an ordinance granting a special use permit to James F. and Amy L. Stovall and Cape Girardeau County for a juvenile justice center in the 2100 block of Locust Street.

-- Passed an ordinance granting a special use permit to Cape Retirement Company Inc., dba Chateau Girardeau for an internal banking facility for Bank of Missouri at 3120 Independence St.

-- Passed an ordinance amending Chapter 30 of the city code by designating the Steinbeck-Brock House at 9 N. Fountain St. as an Historic Landmark.

-- Passed an ordinance approving a right-of-way dedication plat for Kell Farm Drive and Richmond Drive.

-- Passed an ordinance approving the record plat of West Park II subdivision.

-- Passed an ordinance appropriating funds for Public Works.

-- Passed an ordinance authorizing the city manager to execute a water line easement agreement wit West Park Partners, L.P., for the Mount Auburn Road water upgrade project.

-- Passed an ordinance authorizing the city manager to execute an amended and restated cooperation agreement for St. Vincent's Seminary property with Southeast Missouri State University.

-- Passed a resolution authorizing city manager to execute a lease with Cybertel RSA Cellular to erect a communications tower structure.

-- Passed a resolution authorizing city manager to execute a license and indemnity agreement with Evelyn M. Walker for certain improvements on Cordelia Street right of way.

-- Passed a resolution authorizing city manager to execute an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice for a local law enforcement block grant.

-- Passed a resolution acknowledging receipt of an annexation petition and setting a public hearing regarding the proposed annexation.

-- Passed a resolution authorizing city manager to execute an agreement with Lappe Cement Finishing Inc. for the improvement of Missouri Street from Mississippi Street to Scott Street.
