Public hearings

-- Vacate city's interest in a 10-foot utility easement between lots 3 and 4, Block 3, in Cape Meadows Subdivision.

-- Rezone 238 S. Spanish St. from M-1 light industrial to R-4 multiple family residential for Charles L. and Judith A. Hutson.

-- Special-use permit for North Congregation of Jehovah's Witness Church at Lexington and Steven in an R-1 single family residential district for Ruth A. and Earl H. Norman.

Consent ordinances

-- Establish boundaries of Lateral Sewer District 14-1-C-1, approve plans and authorize construction of sanitary lateral sewers.

-- Acquire property for the Hopper Road Phase II project.

-- Make certain sewer improvements in Lateral Sewer District No. 14-1-F-10 along Evergreen Drive.

-- Accept easements from Kenneth M. and Mary C. Oberlohr for sanitary sewers for properties along Perryville Road and Evergreen Drive.

-- Improve Missouri Street from Mississippi to Scott streets for a distance of 450 feet.

-- Approve plat of Aspen Park Townhouses Phase II Subdivision.

-- Vacate interest in a utility easement in Cape Meadows Subdivision.

-- Amend the code of ordinance by changing the zoning of part of 238 S. Spanish St. from M-1 to R-4.

-- Grant special-use permit to the North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses to build, maintain and operate a church at Lexington Avenue and Steven Drive.

-- Acquire property for the sanitary sewer improvement project, lift stations and force mains.

-- Accept deeds from various property owners for the Hopper Road bridge project.

-- Amend the city code to repeal and establish speed limits on Kingshighway.

-- Approve plat of Melrose Place III Subdivision.

-- Authorize city manager to execute an escrow agreement with Rendrag Development Corp. and Union Planters Bank, N.A., for Melrose Place III Subdivision.

-- Approve plat of Wyandotte Acres Subdivision.

Resolutions

-- Authorize city manager to execute an agreement with Robinson Mechanical Contractors Inc. for the State Revolving Sewer Fund Phase II sewer improvements.

-- Authorize city manager to license and indemnify agreement with Warren and Darla Koehler to place certain improvements in an unopened alley behind 1015 N. Spanish St.

-- Authorize mayor to execute agreement with the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency for a hazard risk mitigation plan.

Appointments

-- Appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

-- Appointment to the Cable TV Advisory Board.

Liquor licenses

-- Conditional approval of a temporary 5 percent by the drink license for Fred Higdon, d/b/a SEMO District Fair Association for an event to be held in Arena Park from Sept. 14-19. The four sites will be as follows: northwest corner, southwest corner, south and north of the Arena Building.
