Cape Girardeau and Jackson school board members elect officers

Kyle McDonald and Paul Nenninger will serve as president and vice president, respectively, on the Cape Girardeau School Board. They were elected by fellow board members Thursday.

Previously, Dr. Steve Trautwein served as president and McDonald served as vice president.

In the April 8 election, Trautwein retained his seat and Tony Smee and Stacy Kinder replaced Martha Hamilton and Tom Reinagel.

The Jackson School Board elected officers at its regular board meeting Tuesday. Officers are Terri Tomlin, president, and Dr. T. Wayne Lewis, vice president. Tomlin and Lewis were re-elected April 8.

Bruce Thomas replaces Mack Illers, the board's former vice president. The former president was Brent Wills, who was not up for re-election this year.
