CAPE ELKS LODGE SELECTS TWO STUDENTS OF MONTH

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Janet L. Jarrell and Stacey Elfrink have been named Students of the Month by the Cape Girardeau Elk's Lodge 639.

Jarrell, 18, is a senior at Cape Central High School. She is involved in orchestra, Red Dagger, the International Thespian Society and the National Honor Society.

She is the daughter of Samuel and Janet Jarrell of Cape Girardeau.

Elfrink, 18, is a senior at Notre Dame High School. She is the captain of the varsity cheerleading squad, and editor of the school newspaper. She is also sponsor of the cheerleading squad at St. Vincent's grade school.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delwin Elfrink of Cape Girardeau.

Students of the month are selected by a panel of youth in each participating high school. Students are nominated by classmates and teachers.
