Cape Corner Concert series set to kickoff Saturday night

If the weather allows, the new Cape Corner Concerts series will begin Saturday with a performance by singer-songwriter John-Michael Veach.
The free concert will take place at 7 p.m at the corner of Themis and Main streets in downtown Cape Girardeau.
Veach performs a variety of music, including popular tunes and his own songs.

The new concert series is funded by Old Town Cape and the Downtown Cape Girardeau Community Improvement District.
