CAPE CLUB WILL HOST STAR TREK CONVENTION

A three-day Star Trek fan convention, CONtinuum '91, will be held in Cape Girardeau on June 21-23 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.

The featured speaker will be actor John de Lancie, who appears as "Q" in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also scheduled for appearances are Majel Barrett, who starred as Nurse Christine Chapel in Star Trek and the motion pictures; Richard Arnold, Paramount Studios' Star Trek research consultation, and Jean Kluge, fan artist.

Numerous events are planned through the course of CONtinuum, including a charity auction to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; video rooms; Masquerade ball; costume contest; dance; contributors reception; gaming, dealers' room; art show; and other activities.
