Police are investigating a burglary at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1913 Ritter Drive.
Police received a call about 6:30 a.m. Thursday about a possible burglary at the church, said Darin Hickey, public information officer for the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Officers arrived to find exterior windows broken and evidence someone had entered the church and school, Hickey said.
Windows inside the school were damaged, and an undisclosed amount of cash was missing, Hickey said.
Police had not made any arrests in the case Friday, he said.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
