The color guard also won third place and the percussion section placed fourth.

About 15,000 people attended the band festival, which included a special guest appearance by Marching Mizzou, the band of the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The Marching Tigers will compete in Park Hills Saturday in its final competition of the season.
